Here are a couple of recently established blogs. First up is Histomat by a little Orwellian piggy called Snowball. Histomat brings a Marxist perspective to bear on historical issues. The other one is Ben White's blog which, seems to bring a geographical perspective to bear on the question of Palestine.
Histomat has a post linking to some on line publications of marxist classics that Snowball has organised into a top ten.
Ben White has two recent articles on maps and demography. One has America's UN envoy berating Kofi Annan for appearing at an event where a pre-1948 map of Palestine was displayed and the other has a Reuters interview with an Israeli geography professor whose "demographic" maps have been a big influence on Sharon's "more land, less Arabs" policies.
